I've had another successful day for band related activities. I edited a bit more of my demo for "Judges" and I spent some time rehearsing Grave material. I was focusing on "Fight To The Death" tonight. Elias handled all the guitar on that recording so I never actually recorded the song. I have played it live but there's a few parts I realised I wasn't playing quite right. It's relatively normal in Grave Forsaken for different band members to play guitar on different songs. It often depends on who wrote the song and who is able to be at the session when we record it. In an ideal world, every member would play on every song, but it's not an ideal world! Often band members would have family commitments or simply not get a chance to properly learn the song before it is time to record. In the future I would like to have each member play all their parts, but I can't change what we did in the past! We have also used Daniel Holmes as a session guitar player over the years as well. On the latest material, we've had Luke Gallagher, our most recent drummer, playing a lot of guitar. His brother Josh has been handling the studio drums for a number of years now. We do what we have to keep the band moving!
