Continuing with my discussion of new album tracks, the song I think might be 3rd is "We Stand United". I've talked about this song in these updates already so apologies if I'm repeating myself. The song was written by Elias and myself last year. We wanted to write something that had the vibe of our first couple of albums, so we took some musical cues from songs like "No Eye Has Seen", "This Day Forth" and "Wasting Power". We didn't copy those songs, but we definitely took some influence from them. Lyrically, the song is about the friendship and bond we have in this band. With any long term venture, you go through a lot together. I like to think everyone who has been in the band shares that bond. I have nothing but respect for every past and present member. Even though we have always been an underground band, these band members have helped me achieve my dreams. God willing, we will achieve more of our dreams in the future.
