I continued with my track order determination today. I'm liking a track called "Battle On" as track 2. The music for this one was written by Luke and I wrote the lyrics. It's a fast, thrashy song and when Luke sent me the demo I immediately thought of it being an autobiographical song about the band. It's about the way we've kept going with this band even though it would have been so easy to quit many times over. Hence the title "Battle On". I try to write lyrics in a Grave Forsaken style, positive and based in reality through the lens of faith. I think this fits the bill! This, combined with "Run For Your Life" make a really cool one two punch to open proceedings. Of course, things could change, I'm just sharing my thought process with you.
