I was just thinking of one of my early bands that was called Sanctified. I looked up the name and found another pretty cool Christian metal band called Sanctified that was around for a few years. It got me randomly thinking that Sanctified was a really cool name for a Christian metal band, and I wonder in hindsight why we ever dropped it. This was all before Grave Forsaken happened. But in many ways, Grave Forsaken is really just a continuation of the musical journey I started with my good friend Chris back in 1994. Officially Grave Forsaken started in 2004 but really Chris and I had been laying the groundwork for many years prior.
