Moving into 2002 the band decided to write some new material, with a view to doing some more recording down the track. We were listening to a lot of power metal like Rhapsody and Blind Guardian. We didn't have the musical ability to match those bands but it certainly influenced our ambition. We wanted to move away from straight ahead rock songs and start writing more epic material. We came up with a song called "Journey Of A 1000 Years" that was the most progressive thing we had ever written. I was pretty happy with that song and a few of the others we were putting together.
