With the album launch behind us it was time to plot our next move. I’m a bit disappointed to say we entered another long period of inactivity. For whatever reason, we found it hard to have long term momentum. It is a problem that plagued us all throughout the Katara years. By this time I had my first full time job, so that definitely hindered my ability to push the band. We definitely had good intentions but we just didn’t have any means to follow through on them. Apart from our church, there wasn’t really any gig opportunities for us. The mini Christian rock scene from a few years before had fractured somewhat, so those gigs weren’t happening anymore. We still turned up to practise most weekends but we were going through the motions a bit.
