The Pingelly gig turned out to be an enormous success. We arrived at the Pingelly town hall to a large audience. There was another Christian band called Enthused playing as well. It seemed a good portion of the young people in town had come to the show, because it was a really good atmosphere. Even Ben showed up to support us. There was no way we could do a Katara gig and not invite Ben to come out and perform with us. He did some lead vocals and for a wonderful moment the 5 piece Katara line up was back! It really was a very special moment for me. I still believe that if the 5 of us got together in a room it would be a really good vibe. I haven't seen Ben, Chris or Luke for years and years but hopefully one day we will all meet again. It was also special that Elias was there. This was just the beginning of our friendship but all great things start with a single step. We were really happy with how we played, especially given the short amount of rehearsal time. it was a very natural performance and the people in the crowd seemed to really enjoy the show. All in all it remains one of my fondest memories.
