Elias and I had basic tracks for “The Calling”, “The North Wind”, “Celebrity Judge And The Sinners Part I” and “Death On The Cross”. I can’t remember how it came about, but one day we plugged our electric drums straight in the mixing desk and started recording Tim’s playing. We were pleased to discover we got a decent sound drum track using this method. Up to this point we had recorded our demos with an Audacity generated click track. It was about this time that we realised we could probably build the rhythm tracks we had recorded into full demos by getting Tim to drum along to them. Normally drums we be recorded first but we were learning on the fly. We starting getting some pretty solid sounding tracks once Tim had added his parts. Without even realising, our demos were turning into a full project.
