We started the long drive to Blackstump early on a Friday morning. The plan was to drive about 800 or 900 kms per day for 5 or 6 days. On that first day we got as far a Balladonia Roadhouse, still in Western Australia. It was a long day driving but it was a terrific feeling to be on the road with band.
