We spent the whole third day driving through South Australia. We started hitting a lot more traffic and it got a bit hectic. We had 3 cars in the convoy and Elias' car was more powerful than my car. It meant when he overtook a big truck I had trouble keeping up. We were all pretty keen to stay close to each other because mobile coverage in 2006 wasn't as good as it is now. There were blackspots everywhere. if we got separated it might have been hard to find each other again, it's a big country! We ended up staying the night in a town called Peterborough at nice caravan park. Three days in and we were having the time of our lives!
