The time arrived for our set at Blackstump. Despite incredible nerves, once we were on the stage there was nothing we could do except play. We played the entire debut album from in track order. We did that in a warmup gig, but that remains the only other we have ever done that for one of our albums. It was a cool thing to be able to do. The 40 or so minutes just seemed to fly by. The band was introduced by Steve Rowe and that remains a special memory. We were in great company with Synnove, Fearscape and Paramaecium all playing as well. What an amazing gig to be part of. We did have some technical problems with the amp I was using, but we got through the set and there was a good audience. It was a terrific experience and I'm forever grateful God blessed us with that opportunity. maybe, just maybe, we'll get an opportunity like that again in the future. Who knows? God does.
