The working title for the album was actually "Death On The Cross". That was our key song at that point and it seemed that it would make a fitting title track. It was actually Tim who came up with the title "Beside The River Of Blood". He had written a shortlist of several titles and we quite liked the ring of that phrase. For whatever reason (divine guidance perhaps) that album title stuck. We've never had a song with that name, but all these years later, I still love the title and the era in represents.
