I was very lucky to have Pete from Fearscape as a host while we were in Wollongong. He also had Jayson and Andrew from Paramaecium staying there in the couple of days before Blackstump. They were up there from Melbourne. I had met Jayson 10 years earlier on my Melbourne trip and he remembered me from that. I was and remain a huge Paramaecium fan so it was an honour to meet and hang out with Andrew. There was so much to talk about and I couldn't quite believe I was staying with these people and getting ready to do a gig together. It was a real community and one of the most blessed times in my life. I won't deny that I was very nervous about playing with these guys who were legends to me but it was a mix of nerves and excitement.
