Elias and I got together in our rehearsal space in the back room of my house. We decided to record "Harder To Hate" in the same way as we had recorded the demo. We got Tim to come in on a Friday evening and lay down a drum track using the electronic kit. We then went into the early hours of the Saturday morning recording guitar tracks. During the day on Saturday, Matt came in and laid down his bass. After all that, I put down a vocal track and we were done. I very quickly did a mix and then added it to the other 9 tracks. The whole process took less than 24 hours. Talk about a quick recording! We were worried the quality wouldn't be the same as the rest of the album but I now think you couldn't even tell it was done differently.
