The time for drum recording seemed to arrive on us pretty quickly. It was very exciting to arrive at the church hall in readiness to record the parts. During this whole era I felt like I was living my own dream. Playing in a really dedicated Christian metal band, doing shows and recording albums was what I always wanted. In ended up being quite a tough couple of days. We were all relatively inexperienced, so it took some time to actually start recording. Once we Tim did get recording, we found that actually recording a take for an album was a lot different to jamming the song live or in rehearsal. I felt for Tim as he bashed out take after take trying to get it just right. He was a real trooper and he ended up completely exhausted. It was eye opening for all of us!
