The four of us all arrived at the church where the talent quest was being held. It was the first time in over a year the band had played and we had two different members. It was also going to be my debut on rhythm guitar so I was quite nervous. Once we got there and set up it was a really good feeling. We started to look forward to the performance and I felt that pre gig buzz and hadn't experience for some time. The actual performance went really well. I found playing guitar live much easier than I feared. My experience playing bass really helped. The overwhelming feeling was great and we felt really unified. Tim and Elias did a great job and we knew that we were onto something with the new lineup. We didn't know it at the time, but the four of us were developing a bond that would continue far beyond this performance.
