Elias joining the band gave us a real new lease of life. He brought a lot of enthusiasm and immediately starting improving our material. One of the first things he did was add a cool middle section to "The Calling". It was so great to have someone come in a add a fresh perspective to the material. His desire to see the band grow was evident from day one and he really added an edge to our sound. We were all very happy to have him on board. I find myself connecting more and more with him and I was already counting him as a close friend, even in those early days. We were forming a musical bond that continues to this day.
