One of the best things to come out of the Saltbush weekend was meeting the band Sounds Like Chicken. They were a ska band from Melbourne and they had come over for the weekend. They had a really catchy and energetic sound and Matt and I were really impressed by them. We spent some time hanging out with them over the weekend and formed a pretty good friendship with the band. We went bump into them a few times over years and it was good to get to know them.
