The day of the Pingelly gig arrived and I couldn't possibly know how momentous it would be. Chris had told me a friend of his who was into Christian metal would be coming along. I was totally cool with that and looked forward to meeting someone else who into Christian metal. Chris rocked up at my place with his friend. I immediately connected with the guy, which doesn't happen with everyone you meet. I could sense it might be the start of a good friendship. How right I was!
