Great stuff was happening with Elias in the band but Luke was very busy with other commitments. He often couldn't make practise so one day we had an honest chat about the situation. We agreed it was best if Luke stepped away from the band so he didn't always feel pressure to make rehearsal. The chat was a relief for both of us because he didn't want to quit on us and I didn't want him to leave, but in reality it wasn't working. That chat was Luke's final involvement with the band. I'm grateful for his contribution and really enjoyed playing music with him. He was a good friend during that time in my life in my life as well. I've seen very little of Luke in the years since but I hope he's doing well and it would be great to catch up with him someday.
