The next event we decided to play was the Gospel Songfest. It was a Christian music competition and we knew full well we would be the heaviest band there. When I entered the comp, I didn't list our name as Katara because we had decided to change it by then. Instead I called the band "Gregory, Salmela, Skipworth and Steadman", or GSSS for short. This was never an official name but rather something to fill the form in with. By the time we played, we hoped we would have settled on a name.
