For new years eve 2003, Chris had a party at his place. Elias was invited along and it was good opportunity to hang out and have a chat. I was stunned when Elias played me some riffs from "Vitals Fading" by Tourniquet. The guy really was talking my language and I was starting to seriously think we needed him in the band as soon as possible. I hadn't realised until then how well he could play guitar. I didn't want to push too hard to get Elias in the band but it seemed very logical to me. I left the party optimistic that Elias would be a part of our band sometime during 2004 if everyone agreed. I really felt we could use his skill and personality in the band. It was a good start to 2004.
