The show was great, it's still one of the best things I've ever been involved with. It was easily our best turnout and the opening band (I forget their name) had the crowd warmed up. When we came out and the fireworks went off everyone was so impressed! We played really well and it was just a happening gig. For a new lineup debut I couldn't have asked for anything more. We also had an enormous banner with our logo painted on it. Everything about made the band seem larger than life. it wasn't that we were ego driven, we just wanted to put on a fun show. Some people interpreted it as an ego thing, but really, no one in the band took themselves too seriously. We were just 5 young men looking to pay some exciting Christian metal in Perth. We felt our city was lacking in Christian options and we wanted to provide people with an option.
