The launch gig was a fun night. Chrestos played and we had a good number of youth group kids turn up. I still vividly remember the opening song of the gig, I found out of breath very quickly. I think it was a lot of built up adrenaline and it was the first time I'd played bass and sung live. Also, the stage was darker than I was used to so I couldn't see the frets very well. I settled into the setlist a couple of songs in but I was certainly a whirlwind. We launched the CD, having prepared 50 homemade copies. We sold a few of them to people in attendance and all in all we were very pleased with the night. Ben played well on drums and I thought we were onto a good thing with the new name and instrument switch. It was still the old band, but it was a fresh approach.
