We had some discussions with Tim about him switching to vocals. He was keen on the idea and thought it could work. We had all done singing on the first album but I did most of the live singing. At this stage in our career, switching vocalists didn't seem a huge deal. We were less established as a band so I didn't think my vocals were associated with our sound. It seemed a great way to bring Dave into the band and retain the current members. To facilitate the move, Tim handled most of the vocals on "Horror And Sadness", the title track of the next release. This was done to establish him as the front man. We were very excited about the switch.
