After Blackstump I kept up regular contact with Steve Rowe. I had the dream of getting him to do some vocals on our album. I asked him if he would and he agreed. I was over the moon! I knew which bits I wanted him to song so I sent him a rough mix of the songs with my vocals on them. He went to Mick Jelenic's place and cut his own takes of those lines and then Mick sent them to me. I still remember the excitement of getting the audio files and inserting them into the tracks. We had the voice of Mortification on a couple of our tracks. It was a very special thing Steve did for us and I still appreciate it.
