Tim came up with a large list of potential band names. We all had a few ideas but to be honest I don't remember many of them now. Elias and I were leaning towards "Eternal Destiny" at one point, but we ended up feeling that was too power metal. Because of the doom elements in the sound, we felt that one of Tim's suggestions stood out. That suggestion was "Grave Forsaken". We didn't actually officially decide on the name immediately, but we all agreed it had potential. We kept rehearsing and putting together some songs, but in the back of our minds, the name "Grave Forsaken" was taking hold.
