On the second day of our trip we crossed the border between Western Australia and South Australia. This was quite a buzz because Western Australia is a huge state, so getting to the border was a significant milestone. After another long day of driving we arrived at a roadhouse called Nundroo after dark. Driving at night with all the kangaroos around was quite risky, so I was relieved when we arrived in one piece.
