I couldn't believe when I heard during the year that Blackstump 2006 would feature the following bands. Synnove, Fearscape, Grave Forsaken and Paramaecium! Paramaecium! They were one of my all time favourite bands and a huge influence on us. I simply couldn't comprehend we would be doing a gig with them just a month or so after playing a show with Mortification. It was the ultimate one two punch. Fearscape and Synnove were also known bands in the Australian scene and I just couldn't quite believe what was happening with our little band. Even now, 11 years later, my mind boggles at how much things moved for us in 2006. It was incredible.
