I entered the battle of the bands and that was confirmed shortly after. I was pleased because it meant we could still take the trip down for the weekend and perform. Even though it was a Saturday morning slot, I figured there would still be people there. Most of the main bands didn't start until the Saturday afternoon, so the battle wasn't competing against anything. I had this funny feeling we might still get a decent amount of people watching us.
