Our Saltbush 2003 hopes weren't completely dashed. I received an email saying they were holding a battle of the bands type competition and we would be welcome to enter. The competition would be held on the Saturday morning of the event. It wasn't exactly what I was planning but I didn't hesitate to enter. We had about 10 songs rehearsed so it would be no problem to play for as long as we were required.
