We were naturally very excited about the Lakeside gig. Funnily enough, I work close to the church and I often drive past. Every single time I drive past I think back to that gig. It's funny how 30 minutes of your life can stick in your memory forever. It was easily our best gig up until that point. We had our great friend Andre Golik record the audio and we were really enthusiastic about playing in front of 30 or 40 youth group kids. It was pretty much the dream. We played pretty well as well! Peter's band, Supperflutiy, played as well and they were really good. It was a totally memorable night and I actually felt like I was achieving my metal goals. Playing Jesus metal in Perth just like my heroes Mortification. Chris, Ben and myself were a real gang and I just loved hanging out with those guys. Good times.
