The next gig I remember was at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. On this occasion we were the only band playing so it was a bit daunting in some ways. My memory of the gig is that we played quite well, the kids there certainly seemed to get into it and enjoy themselves. I sung a cover of "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath that we were playing at the time. We changed the lyrics a bit to make the song have a Christian message. I can't remember the changes but I do recall doing something. I was so full on with my Christian metal that I felt a bit conflicted playing Black Sabbath. Having said that, it was the only cover we knew so it was a good learning ground for us.
