Ben organised some recording equipment. He decided to record straight to minidisc, which was still quite recent technology at the time. We set up microphones on all our equipment in the band room and played into a mixing desk. Ben then outputted the mix to the minidisc. It was the year 2000, but none of us had a fast enough computer to use multitrack software. Plus we had no clue how to use any software anyway. The idea was to live track drums bass and guitar and record a good mix. THe plan was then to record vocals over the top of that track. So basically it was going to be a two track recording.
