With Alison departing, I just assumed I would get back behind the drums. The interesting thing was Ben suggesting I stay on bass because he liked what I was doing vocally. As an interim measure, Ben suggested he drum for the time being. Ben was a talented musician, so he was able to hold a solid beat behind the kit. I had effectively swapped places with him in the band. With this change we decided it was possibly time to move on from the Sanctified name. It was the same three guys but it had a different feel. In hindsight we didn't need to change anything, but at the time that's how we felt. So it was time to pick a new name.
