Not long after the Lockridge gig, the band had a big disagreement over the money we were paid for the gig. It resulted in serious tension and I made the decision to quit the band on the spot. It was a very dramatic night and I was in a state of shock that our little gang had suddenly broken up. I was in the wrong about the way I thought we should handle money as a band. I learned some valuable lessons from that incident.
