After a successful recording session a few nights ago, Matt is heading over again tomorrow to do some more bass. I've spent a good amount of time over the last few days on this solo project. The music is much more straight ahead than the last two Grave Forsaken albums but of course it still sounds similar. When I record I don't really aim for a particular sound. I find that it just naturally sounds a certain way. If I had to give a reference point, I think this material sounds like "Harder To Hate" and "Dare To Dream". That's probably because I wrote those two songs and I wrote most of this material as well! It will be a couple of months off, but I fully intend to share the songs as they get closer to completion. Right now they are just drums and bass guitar.
