Warriors Of Light (Gregory, Salmela)
We are the servants of the doctrine of the Lord
Equipped with power, we set upon the nocturnal lands
Our purpose to extinguish the indwelling darkness
Lead them to the path that vanquishes the dark

Christian metal warriors of light
Forging forth the truth of Christ
Spreading to all His gospel of peace
Fully prepared and trained for the quest

Our armaments are made of crafted wood and metal
Finely honed to shred through the core of this world
Piercing the legions with truth that’s razor sharp
Telling of the hope that comes through nail pierced flesh

Christian metal warriors of light
Forging forth the truth of Christ
Spreading to all His gospel of peace
Fully prepared and trained for the quest

Christian metal equipped by God
His son declares His power here
We come here to praise His name
For it is He who we serve
His spirit cleans us of our sin
We now proclaim His holy truth
Power unleashed upon this hall
This crowd is cleansed by His blood

Missionaries in a field of metal
Harvesting pure steel from the rust
The legions respond when the spirit speaks truth
Bursting through chains that enslave the soul

Christian metal warriors of light
Forging forth the truth of Christ
Spreading to all His gospel of peace
Fully prepared and trained for the quest

Perish The Thought (Steadman, Salmela, Skipworth, Gregory)
Send men into the promised land to see what lay in store
Send one from every Jewish tribe to find what we came for
We’ll make a plan to conquer all and take the land by force
As soon as we discover what’s ahead we’ll set our course
The spies went forth into the land; all twelve of them were there
They saw the enemies of God; the giants living there
Ten of the spies, they got freaked out; thought little of themselves
But Joshua and Caleb saw the land of Israel

Perish the thought of doubt
Or vanish in disbelief
Faith is a choice you make
Choose what you will receive

They came to the assembly to declare what they had seen
Complaining unto Moses that it was an ugly scene
They said “We’ll never do it; they’re too many and too strong
If we go up against them we will not last very long!”
But Joshua and Caleb said, “The land is very good
The food they’ve got is excellent; there’s heaps of burning wood
There’s milk and there is honey; it’s the best we’ve ever seen
And with our God beside us we can take it all, you’ll see!”

Perish the thought of doubt
Or vanish in disbelief
Faith is a choice you make
Choose what you will receive

The people were complaining and they started to rebel
They murmured and they muttered and they gave poor Moses hell
The Lord was very angry at the way they carried on
And so their generation died and rotted in the sun
The children had maintained their faith and waited patiently
For forty years the Lord had made them travel aimlessly
But when the doubters all had perished, each and every one
The faithful men rose up to fight and take the land they’d won

Perish the thought of doubt
Or vanish in disbelief
Faith is a choice you make
Choose what you will receive

Eternal Destiny (Gregory, Salmela, Skipworth)
Our hope is sure, future is bright
Christ the Lord has won the fight
Victorious over death
We need not fear, he paid the debt

Times of strife upon the Earth
Do not effect eternal reward
We are to walk on ward in faith
Claiming the promise that He did give

Do not even try to change our minds
Signs of His grace are everywhere
Look at the sunset, listen to rain
You can be sure He’s coming again

Sometimes in life we get dragged down
It’s part of the curse upon this flesh
Always remember, always be sure
Christ is with you, He is our hope

Eternal Destiny, our hope is with the Lord
He paid for all our sins on that day on the cross
Risen Lord, One true God, forgiveness through his name
We will praise Him

The time is now to enter his grace
Ask for Him to dwell in your heart
Confess your sin to our great God
From this day forth be born again

His message we will surely proclaim
As long as we are here on Earth
For we know we’re Heaven bound
Our eternal destiny

Celebrity Judge And The Sinners Part II (Steadman, Salmela)
Jesus came to live on earth
His prophecy fulfilling
Raised disciples from common men
To do His work, God willing
Jesus lived to be a light
And save the world from sin
He had power from above
To see what lies within

Judas was one of the twelve
Who followed Jesus’ teaching
He thought Jesus would emerge
A warrior and king
But when He claimed that He was God
It made Judas see red
He thought we’d all be better off
If Jesus Christ was dead

Judas gave the signal to
The evil men in waiting
Out they came with swords and clubs
In readiness to take Him
Jesus knew it was His time
To do what He had come for
Judas rubbed his greedy hands
This Jesus Christ was done for

They crucified Him on a cross
They killed Him without cause
They buried Him inside a tomb
But three days on, He rose
Now Judas met a grisly end
Because of his betrayal
But Jesus comes to judge the world
For His grave is forsaken

He lives because He is the Lord
Who set us free from sin
He is in heaven, waiting there
For us to enter in

Punishment (Steadman, Salmela)
Unbelief, this will reap punishment
It is sin to reject forgiveness
Forgiveness shows the great love of God
Punishment shows the justice of God

Consequence is the way that we learn
Through all time we have known we must turn
Consequence – you cannot run away
Everyone must confess, must explain

We go on to reveal the way, pointing to the Son
We will stand on the final day, drenched in Jesus’ blood
Consequence of the sinful state, damned and sent to hell
Forgiveness from the Son of God can overturn the spell

Unbelief, this will reap punishment
It is sin to reject forgiveness
Forgiveness shows the great love of God
Punishment shows the justice of God

Sacrifice done for our salvation
Punishment taken by God’s own son
We deserve punishment for our deeds
Jesus Christ paid the price, set us free

We go on to reveal the way, pointing to the Son
We will stand on the final day, drenched in Jesus’ blood
Consequence of the sinful state, damned and sent to hell
Forgiveness from the Son of God can overturn the spell

Unbelief, this will reap punishment
It is sin to reject forgiveness
Forgiveness shows the great love of God
Punishment shows the justice of God

Unbelief is a sin like a lie
Both are made to stop you, keep you blind
Overcome, read the Word, be a man
Don’t let fear hold you back, take a stand

Jesus set us free x 8

Horror And Sadness (Gregory,Salmela)
A dark night, a late walk in the bush
I wouldn’t normally come here, but something isn’t right
I hear chants and cries
Praising the evil one, he deserves niothing

Satanic visions, evil emblems
Lucifer is here tonight
Black cloaks, lost fools
Expecting a reward when they arrive in hell

Horror and sadness engulf me
I pity those sucked in by Satan
He has them wrapped around his finger
Making men evil, men with potential
Oh why do they fall for such hate
Believing something good awaits

I hate hate, hate for other men
I hate death, death of the innocent
I hate evil, all that is perverse

Oh I can’t believe, any of what I see
I can’t believe that dagger just drew blood from the chest of an innocent man
666, a truly wicked number, the number of the beast
Satan’s very own 3 digits

Wierd cries engulf the atmosphere
Cold patches in the night
Evil spirits trying to consume me
I resist you Satan, how do you like that

Horror and sadness engulf me
I pity those sucked in by Satan
He has them wrapped around his finger
Making men evil, men with potential
Oh why do they fall for such hate
Believing something good awaits

I hate hate, hate for other men
I hate death, death of the innocent
I hate evil, all that is perverse

I hate hate, hate for other men

Destined For Ascension (Steadman, Salmela, Skipworth, Gregory)
Heaven bound! We hear the call
Of our Saviour to leave it all
And come to be with Him at last
Leaving the world stuck in the past
Hallelujah, Christ is coming

We believe in Jesus Christ
Who made the final sacrifice
By giving up His life for ours
To save us from these dying hours
Hallelujah, we are waiting

Destined for ascension, we are the chosen few
Blessed by redemption, the faithful Word is true
Jesus fought to save us, so we’ll fight for you
Prayers and supplication, offered up for you
Christ has chosen you

Praise the Lord, for He is great
He’s conquered every fear and hate
And battled every evil foe
To send them into hell below
Hallelujah, He’s victorious

Serve your God, for He has done
So many things for everyone
To heal the sick, to feed the poor
Comfort in heaven, evermore
Hallelujah, Jesus loves us

Destined for ascension, we are the chosen few
Blessed by redemption, the faithful Word is true
Jesus fought to save us, so we’ll fight for you
Prayers and supplication, offered up for you
Christ has chosen you

O Lord our God, we must confess
That we all need Your forgiveness
Because we fall short every day
In what we do and what we say
Hallelujah, God have mercy

We love You Lord this much is true
We give our lives to honour You
For there is not a higher cause
Than giving You our heart’s applause
Hallelujah, bless the Father

No Eye Has Seen (Gregory, Salmela)
God has revealed by His spirit, spirit searches all things
Who among men knows the thoughts of man except the spirit within
Who knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God
We have received the spirit of God so we may understand

No eye has seen
No ear has heard
No mind has conceived
What God has prepared

This is what we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom
In words taught by spirit, spiritual truths in spiritual words
The man without the spirit does not accept things from the spirit of God
They are foolish to him for he cannot understand them

No eye has seen
No ear has heard
No mind has conceived
What God has prepared

We speak a message of wisdom among the mature
Not the wisdom of the rulers of this age who are coming to nothing
We speak of God’s wisdom, destined for glory before time began
None of the rulers understood it, for they crucified Christ

No eye has seen
No ear has heard
No mind has conceived
What God has prepared

Blood On The Scales (Steadman, Salmela)
When Adam knew he was naked
He had crossed the line
Tried to cover his shame by hiding
Keeping out of sight
But God knew what was occurring
And in His heart was dread
God made skins to clothe poor Adam
And another beast was dead
For the principle of sin was made
That it should come at cost
Adam found the grace of God
Instead of his life lost

A life for a life, an eye for an eye
A pound of flesh for a sin
There’s blood on the scales but we never paid
It was Christ who settled our debt

Count up all of your bad deeds
Count them every one
Think of all that Christ has suffered
For the things you’ve done
Sin came to us through one man
Through one are all condemned
So if one man pays the Reaper
For all, the curse can end
For the ancient rule of sacrifice
Has now been satisfied
Jesus bore our every sin
So we’d be justified

The Road To Damascus (Gregory)
Saul was breathing murder and violence upon the early disciples
He journeyed to Damascus to arrest and persecute them
Along the way a flash of light blinded him, he heard the voice of Jesus
He couldn’t see but the voice told him to continue to Damascus

Saul was struck down by the light
For 3 days no drink nor food
Anannias prayed for him
The scales fell from his eyes

On the road to Damascus
It was there Saul was set free
On the road to Damascus
Granted life eternally

I’d never had much time for preachers, always pushing the same old lies
If somebody shoved a bible in my face there was a strong chance of violence
I lived my way, didn’t need their God, I did just what I wanted
Then one day I heard the voice of Jesus calling me to a new way

Something touched me deep within
I could not hide from my own sin
Something called me this I knew
The voice of Jesus in my heart

On the road to Damascus
It was there Saul was set free
On the road to Damascus
Granted life eternally

We’re on the road x 4

As I moved forth in my new faith I could see a parallel
Just like Saul I came upon my own road to Damascus
I was on the path to denigrate and persecute them
So convinced I was better than them, I’d do anything to prove it
When I heard the call I did not think that anyone would believe me
I’d lived for hate and stood for the destruction of religion
Fortunately I found many who would accept me
Empowered and free I live solely for the gospel’s purpose

Set free by the precious blood of Jesus
New life, new way I am now living
Just like Saul’s life I have been transformed
My sole purpose is to share the gospel

When Saul arrived in Damascus he began to preach boldly
All the people could not believe that this was the same man
I’ve seen this in my life as I’ve entered into the new way
People cannot believe the change in me, the fruit of the Holy Spirit

Barnabus was Saul’s ally
Convinced others he had changed
In my life my friends in Christ
Have done exactly the same

The challenge for you if you’ve come this far is to see how this relates
All of us are on the road to Damascus in some way or other
Can you hear the voice of Jesus calling you, asking that you receive him?
Let the scales fall from your eyes and come into the new way

We are all on our own journey along the road to Damascus x 8
