Hi all,
The second track on the album was actually the last song written. Elias and I wrote the music one night at my house and we recorded a very rough demo. I had this idea in my head that I wanted the song to be about the friendships we have had in this band over many years now. Everyone who has been in the band has a special place in my heart and I wanted to echo that in a song. I started writing down some words and gradually shaped the song over the next few days. I had a few different ideas for the chorus structure but eventually landed on "We Stand United" because I could make it work vocally. If you listen to the words, it's me thanking the guys for their friendship and commitment to the band mission over the years. I think it is a nice sentiment and I'm really happy with the track.
